She received recognition for her role as the lead in the sci-fi movie Super 8, which won the Spotlight Award in the Hollywood Festival of the Dead. The actress later played the lead role in comedies We Bought a Zoo (2011 and Ginger & Rosa 2012) and also as The Princess Aurora in fantasy movies Maleficent (2014 as well as Maleficent The Mistress of Evil from 2014 to Maleficent Mistress of Evil -).
