MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress into Latin pop. In 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN which was his debut long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. The group released Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album the year following. In 2021, he was as a duo TINI to perform her online song Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo came from a household of music the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. He has said in interviews that music is a must. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while when he was a child. Although he initially wanted to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singing teacher would change the direction of his profession.
