Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional Boleros from the past along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and every form of dramatic performances. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began giving her a more intensive training in singing. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move to the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She is currently performing traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She has been involved with a number of local organizations in both teaching and performer because of her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana has been a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
