She was born in Constanta, Romania on 10 June 1989. Her mother worked as an agent for sales and her father was employed as groundskeeper. Stan also has one sister, Andreea. Stan was a singer/songwriter from Romania, and she began to take an interest in music at a very young age. Stan attended the Traian Secondary School before moving on to the Faculty of Management Andrei Saguna. Born and raised in the city of Constanta Stan achieved international fame with the 2010 single "Mr. Saxobeat, which was written by Marcel Prodan as well as Andrei Nemirschi, was produced. They came across Stan in 2009 at a nightclub for karaoke and signed Stan to Maan Records. "Mr. Saxobeat" came out following the singer's debut single "Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)" (2009) which earned her a moderate amount of fame in Romania.
